It's a pleasure to welcome you here and share a bit about my journey and passion for design.
My name is Roberta Andries Guilherme Oliveira, but you can call me Roberta Andries, or even Robi, as my closest friends do. I was born in a small town in Brazil, but since then, my life has been an adventure filled with changes and new opportunities.
My heart has always beaten stronger for design, and it was at the University of Maringá where I took my first steps into this fascinating world. There, I graduated in Product Design, but my thirst for knowledge took me further. In an unforgettable experience, I spent a year in charming Florence, Italy, honing my knowledge in Industrial Design at the renowned UNIFI. It was during this time that I immersed myself in Italian culture and saw my project for a water fountain come to life in the picturesque town of Chianti. In 2022, I felt the call to explore new horizons once again and set off for Dublin, Ireland, to improve my English. This decision led me to experience unique situations, from working as a waitress and receptionist in an Italian restaurant to discovering my natural aptitude for sales. It was a period of discovery and constant learning, where I not only improved my English but also my interpersonal and negotiation skills.
This journey brought me here, to the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal, where I am currently dedicated to creating and selling custom Portuguese tiles, as well as managing social media strategies for the brand. My passion for design lies in the diversity of the profession and the positive impact it can have on society. I love the daily challenge of creating solutions that combine strategy and creativity, always putting the user's needs first.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from household utensils to promotional products, and also working as a freelancer in various areas of design. I always strive to exceed my clients' expectations, ensuring that each project is not only exceptional but also viable and effective.
